Proper use of sauna Help?
I have a infrared red sauna.
I used to just gobble down 3 large glasses of water, turn the temperature to 170.
And go in it for a hour. So my tolerance is way up, I am comfortable in a sauna for a hour at 170 degrees. I am a 150 pound male, Excellent, marathon condition.
I feel great after it, nice cold shower.
But then I realized, this cannot be healthy to be in a sauna this long.
What would be the proper amount for me be?
20 minutes in sauna… then break. Repeat?
I also want to do stretches and cardio exercises inside the sauna. Suggestions?
Any permanent damage in the way I do sauna now? Been doing it daily for a month now?
