There are many reasons why you should get an infrared home sauna for yourself, and if you do this you will need to get an infrared sauna kit. That is because the infrared sauna kit will come with everything you need to take care of the sauna and ensure that it is kept in the best possible condition.

If you are curious why you would need an infrared sauna kit or even why you should get an infrared sauna to begin with, here is some important information that you will want to know.

Health Benefits of Sauna

One of the greatest benefits that an infrared sauna offers is that it helps with weight loss. Even if you have tried various weight loss methods in the past to no avail, this may be the perfect answer for you.

It also helps treat cellulite, improves your immune system, improves your strength and vitality, helps cure several skin diseases such as psoriasis and acne, strengthen the cardiovascular system, help control blood pressure, detoxify your body, gives you more energy and relieves stress, and helps to treat burns and scars. An infrared sauna will also help to relieve pain such as joint pain or from sore muscles or arthritis, helps control cholesterol level, even treat bronchitis and hives.

If you need to purchase an infrared sauna kit you will usually be able to find it at the same place that you purchased your sauna, but this is not always the case. If you are not able to find a kit at the same retailer that you purchased your sauna from, know that there are various specialty stores out there that you can visit for this and other accessories.

When you want to install a sauna at home, you simply have to look at the prebuilt sauna kits in the market. You see, these do-it-yourself kits are a snap to install. Every nut and bolt is in the package. You can save yourself a lot of cash by doing the carpentry yourself in preparation for the installation, or you can have a professional do it.

These kits are also very reasonably priced, with the cheapest ones at around a thousand dollars. If you compare that to the fees that you expect to pay for a classy spot downtown with the Roman Bathhouse for an entire year, you’d ask yourself why you have put off installation for so long. Not to mention that you can actually enjoy the luxury at home.

Sauna lovers may have long ago pampered their own skin in such places, but don’t you think that there is nothing better than enjoying this comfort at home? That way, you can indulge practically any time you choose.

The first thing that you need to consider is the size of the home pre-built sauna. Prices vary according to capacity. One-person sauna kits are priced at around $1000. If you are fine with just enough space just for you, that is no problem. However, if you do not live alone and there are others in the family that loves a spa experience as much as you do, you may have to get the two-person units or even the 4 and 6 person units.

A two-person kit isn’t much more expensive that a one-person model anyway, plus there are 6-person spas that are priced at around $2200. If you do some comparison shopping, you would also find it easy to find a four-person sauna in the 1400 to 1800 dollar price range.

The reason for these low prices is that online vendors have much lower operating costs, so they can afford to sell these kits at a much lower price. Another reason is that, with the competition in the market, vendors are willing to price their goods in such a way as to attract customers.

An equally important thing is to check the quality of the pre built sauna on sale. You can do this by checking on the accessories, on the material used (cedar is a good material), and the dimensions once it is finished.

You should also check on the ergonomics. When you look at pictures of these products, you will notice that they are mostly pictures of what the kit itself looks like. However, you need to have some idea of how it would look once finished, so dig around for more info.

Will they have rounded corners and adequate room? They might be inexpensive but if you want to be able to actually lie down and not squeeze yourself into a tiny corner, you better check on how the home sauna’s interior would look like.

Installing a home sauna is a great start in finding ways to pamper yourself. Think of it as a good-job, pat-on-the-back; or a way to, well, get away, especially if you feel that the pressures of career and relationships is taking its toll on you. With hundreds of prebuilt sauna kits on the market, it shouldn’t be too difficult.

There are numerous spa accessories that you must have and this article deals with the description of a few necessary ones. It would be advisable that when you book your portable spa or cyclone spa, you ask the company for these accessories, too, so you have the complete set in place and you are not left thinking there is something missing.

Spa Accessories:

Steps

Steps are one of the most important accessories you will require. It makes getting in and out of the spa an easy task, and safe, too. Make sure your steps have an anti-slip surface so you don’t slip, even with your wet feet. They can also be made in wood or timber so they complement the timber cabinet.

Towel Rail

Towel rails come with their own mounting brackets, so all you have to do is have them installed. It would be a mess if you had to leave your towel on the floor, especially if you have an outdoor spa.

Cover Lifter

This cover lifter is a must have for any spa owner. This hard cover cannot be lifted by hand as it is too heavy, so the cover lifter does the needful and even has storage space for the cover when not in use.

Booster Seat

Booster seats are easily filled with air and are made of long lasting and durable material. They also are an added bonus, as they provide comfort as opposed to sitting on the hard surface of the spa pool. Some spa booster seats even have suction cups to give added comfort.

Spa Tray

These trays can be attached on top of the side of the spa. This is a great option if you want to relax with a nice chilled drink and don’t want to keep getting in and out of the spa to refill or place your glass back down.

Floating Spa Remotes

Now this is ultimate spa comfort where even your spa remote is water proof and you don’t have to worry about placing it in a dry place. Some remotes are so sophisticated that they can be used to operate your TV, spa, music system, DVD unit, etc.

Ambience Lights

These lights can be used to create different moods and atmospheres when relaxing in your spa. You can have fun disco colours for when you are having a party or mood lighting for a romantic or relaxing break.

Aromatherapy Scents

These aromatherapy scents can be used to add a fragrance to the water. Check with your portable spa company for this feature.

Ozone Kits for GL & GS Controllers

This Ozone kit breaks down the bacteria in the water, leaving it fresh and clear. This is not a standard feature in most portable spas, so please confirm with the spa company.

Swim Poles

These are an added feature for the swim spa, which is harnessed to your back with a safety belt that keeps you in place. With this you can swim and exercise in your swim spa and you don’t even need a pool.

Timber Bar

Some spa manufacturers even offer timber bars that can be attached to the side of the portable spa and they are supported also by their own frame. Some bar stools and you have a spa side bar ready for a party!

If you are looking any of these spa accessories, then you can find them at Cyclone Spas. For more information, please click here: http://www.cyclonespas.com.au

Maintenance issues are par for the course with having a hot tub. But any accessory you can buy to cut down on the maintenance requirements will make your life easier. Here are just a few of the accessories available that will not only extend the life of your hot tub, but will also allow you to enjoy it in the manner you envisioned when you first bought it.

1) Wind straps –

Spa cover wind straps will secure your hot tub cover in high winds and prevent it from blowing across town. It will also help to keep unwelcome critters at bay. For the best protection make sure you get the heavy duty security straps which can keep keep unauthorized visitors and children out of the hot tub.

2) Spa Blanket –

A spa blanket slows down the evaporation process thereby lowering both your heating and your watering costs. Less evaporation means that you’ll have to add chemicals to your spa with less frequency. It also means that the chemical balance of the water will have less fluctuation.

A hot tub blanket is typically made of plastic, custom cut to the size of your spa. It fits under your spa cover and acts as a thermal blanket to keep the heat in the pool while the spa cover keeps the outside cold air from reaching the pool. If you use your hot tub a significant amount in cold weather climates, a spa blanket can save you a lot of money.

3) Spa Pre-Filter -

You might legitimately ask, if I have a filter, why do I need a pre-filter? A similar question might be, why do people drink filtered water when the body’s liver is perfectly capable of and explicitly designed to filter out impurities? They do it to relieve stress and strain on the liver.

A spa pre-filter serves a similar purpose. It’s main function is to get rid of most contaminants in your tap water before it reaches your spa, causing less stress on the spa filter and extending it’s life.

Pre-filters come in various sizes and quality. The best ones will eliminate practically all trace minerals and metals from the water as well as most organic contaminants and will last you for at least a couple of years. And they couldn’t be easier to use. Just attach it to your garden hose and you’re ready to go.

4) Spa Cover Lift –

A spa cover lift just makes the whole spa experience more enjoyable. You don’t want to strain your back while struggling with the spa cover every time you want to use the spa. A spa cover lift not only makes your life easier, it also will help extend the life of your hot tub’s insulating cover by eliminating the friction that would otherwise be cause by constantly dragging it on and off of the spa. A spa experience is supposed to be relaxing. A spa cover lift helps to make it just that.
