Ivy Asset Management, the fund of hedge funds that BNY Mellon Asset Management is reportedly shutting down, is the subject of a probe by the New York attorney general, Andrew M. Cuomo, for advice it allegedly gave on investments related to Bernard L. Madoff, The Wall Street Journal reported , citing a person familiar with the matter.
