Professional Facial Steamers
what is a good way to steam your face like they do at a spa but without having to buy an expensive steamer?

I recently had a professional facial and my face felt so soft and healthy feeling when I left, how can I keep that feeling without having to go to a spa every week.

Like all the previous answers the best thing to do is to get a bowl of hot water place you face over it and a towel covering your head.

However, you could add some essential oils to the hot water which will enhance the effect of the steam on your skin. I do this once or twice a week, and my skin is very clear and in good condition as a result.

My routine is to steam my face for 10 minutes; then apply a face mask; then I will give my skin a blast of ice cold water; then I spend around 10-20 minutes massaging my face with oil, which I leave on. It’s best if you do this in the evening or before you go to bed so the oil can penetrate your skin overnight.

I use sweet almond oil or olive oil to massage my face, but you could use whatever you like best.
My favourite oils to use in the steam are Tea Tree, Fennel, Grapefruit, Juniper berry, Lavender, Rose and Frankincense. They all help to deep cleanse and detoxify the skin.
