Looking for a list (not a link) of vaccines that contain thermasol besides the flu shot?
Just wanted to make sure my 15 month old son hasn’t had any of them.
Docs should really verbally give you an option instead of handing you a pamphlet that some parents might not read at all or until after the shots have been already given.
I never new there was an option of “thermasol free” shots until I started hearing about it on the news.

Not here. Do you know the list of states if any, that have banned it?

I did a quick google search on vaccines containing thermasol and found the search to be quite in depth and time consuming. So consequently I would say this would be the reason no one answered.
DT – diptheria & tetanus toxoids – contains 25 mcg mercury, 0.01% thimerosal
Tetanus toxoid – contains 25 mcg mercury, 0.01% thimerosal
Meningococcal – contains 25 mcg mercury, 0.01% thimerosal
Some vaccinations are created with thimerosal, and then the mercury is chemically extracted. This chemical extraction still leaves trace amounts of mercury in the vaccination, yet they are allowed to be called “mercury free”.
These vaccinations are:
DTaP – brand name Tripedia – manufactured by sanofi pasteur
DTaP+Hib – brand name TriHIBit – manufactured by sanofi pasteur
All TD toxoids
Hep A+B – brand name Twinrix – manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline
Be aware that vaccinations are manufactured in large quantities and have a long shelf life. Many pediatricians are still using vaccinations that were manufactured before the reduction/removal of Thimerosal/Mercury, and thus the mercury quantities may be higher. Ask for the package inserts of each vaccination before allowing it to be administered, ask for the manufacture date of the vaccination, and watch the nurse shake the vial and draw it out.
Check these sites out. Might want to think about other toxins besides mercury. There is also lead, formaldehyde, aluminum, etc. Formaldehyde is in a lot of vaccinations, so chances are your child has had a shot with it in there. So you might want to do some research.
