how much should i weigh and how?

Portable Steam Sauna


i am 14 yr old. im 5’4 and weigh 145 lb. lots of it is muscle. im very athletic, curvy, and am self-conscious about my weight. i have gained some the past 4 months because of a break from sports. i really need to get into shape and am hoping to lose 15-20 pounds so that i look and feel better and healthier about myself. i do have access to an elliptical machine and my mom just bought a portable sauna? im wondering what that does. my mom says that its just like swimming for an hour, 30 min in the sauna, and your supposed to burn 600 calories. does that help you lose weight too?

You should be 117, I’m 14 & 5’4″ too and I’m suppossed to weigh 117.

you should lift weights. you dont really need to worry about you weight as long as your not fat

Burning calories, eating healthy, and exercizing all help you lose weight.

So yes, that would help you lose weight. :3

Dude, you’re wasting your time trying to be perfect, and no ones perfect. Just be happy with what you’ve got. You’re only 14 so you’re gonna grow. Once you grow you’ll proportion and you’ll look fine, but you’re young so go have fun.

your supposed to be up to i think 120.
im 5’8 and weigh 150,im taller than you so i think your a little over weight.use a tred mill,i lose 200 calories every 20 minutes!

According to this graph i’ve linked to below, you should be somewhere in the area of110 – 140 lbs. The body-mass-index is only a guide, but it is the best guide out there, and what your GP would refer to.

don’t go on a diet. They suck. I’ve been trying to loose weight since I was 12. Don’t get sucked into the weight loss fad. If you really feel you HAVE to loose weight, just like, eat less dessert or something.

well im like 14 5’4 and my doctor says i should be ATLEAST 129 . if youre over that , youre at risk of being overweight ..
