Or rather the method, as the book goes into detail with respect to only one type of fabrication. It seems to assume everyone will be using insulated stud construction; I would have liked to have seen more about using log walls for thermal mass. <br /> <br />Although there is a lot of information here, it is presented in an uninviting, dry manner. And anyone without extensive building experience will be lost--this is not a how-to book for the novice. In addition, everything given in this overpriced book can be found for free on the Internet with a little googling. The format is a little over 8 by 6.5 inches, and that is far too small for something with a list price of $40 (or even for the discount offered by Amazon). <br /> <br />It does offer more information on the traditional savuasauna (smoke sauna) than I have seen elsewhere, but I suspect that most people will not be interested in that aspect.
