The dude in the photo looks sketchy to me, but don’t let that keep you from getting one of these robes. It’s thinner than some other robes, as far as robes go, so don’t be expecting some huge plush terrycloth affair. It’s a lightweight, yukata-like robe that’s smooth and soft on the inside, with that waffle-pattern fabric on the outside. So basically it’s something like 2 or 3 T-shirts worth of thickness, if you can imagine that.
If you get this robe, and you don’t look sketchy to begin with (like the guy in the photo), then this is a great option for a robe. If you are a sketchy-looking guy, well then, sir, no robe can help you, I’m sorry.

this robe is not at all close fitting (i got a small, fits like a med or lg); but it’s so light and comfortable, soft, & not at all linty. very happy with it!

Nice quality– good summer weight and well made. It wasn’t cheap but we needed something like this and it is working fine. A man can easily wear the XL.

I bought this robe for my husband, who just wanted a lightweight summer robe. The fabric is fine–a soft waffle-weave. The problem we had was that although the robe is advertised as uni-sex with TWO sets of belt loops for a good fit, there weren’t ANY belt loops at all. The belt was included, but, really how annoying for the belt to be falling to the floor. Also, while it is being sold for both men and women, the style IS a little more on the feminine side. We returned the robe–Amazon has great customer service with regard to returns.
