This thing tore my skin to shreds. I don’t even need to say anymore than that. I returned this immediately.

I would have never guessed it from the product description, but my husband and I use this product equally. He has a beard and mustache, and this works great as a cordless trimmer. As for female uses, the epilator hurts just like you think it will. It’s nice that the shaver is water resistant. The manual is cheap, but other than that this is a nice, if sometimes painful, product at a good price.

I was really psyched to get this trimmer. I have been using an electic Remington shaver for years. That has always given me a close shave down there but it’s so big. I was expecting this trimmer to also give me a close shave but figured it would be easier to use since it has small attachments. I was wrong. This is only a trimmer and you will be left with stubble. I’m guessing only the epilator will make you smooth but I didn’t use that attachment. I’m not into pain. I called Philips and they have been very helpful with returning the product so hopefully I will get most of my money back. If you need a trimmer, I suppose this may work for you. I honestly don’t even think it did that much of a good job at trimming either. I really would recommend avoiding this product all together.
